Melissa Wyman has been with Red Door Spa Holdings since September 2003, holding the positions of Guest Service Manager, Assistant General Manager, General Manager, Regional Training Manager – Guest Services, National Training Director – Guest Services and then Regional Manager of all Maryland and District of Columbia spa locations. Ms. Wyman oversees the development of operations and leadership teams in her region, generating $16M in annual revenues.  

In her various roles with Red Door, Ms. Wyman created the company’s first formalized nation-wide Guest Service Training Program for all Service Providers, Guest Service Associates, Managers, and Spa Attendants, was a primary contributor to the composition of the company’s Standard Operating Procedures, and coordinated the company’s training and conversion of their daily operating systems. Ms. Wyman also participated in the training and team development of various new Red Door Spa openings over the course of her tenure.
Ms. Wyman is a Certified Spa Supervisor and has completed course work in Retail Management and Risk Management. Ms. Wyman is an active member of International Spa Association (ISPA) serving on Membership Development and Focus Group Task Forces for the organization.
Ms. Wyman studied at the University of Maryland with a focus on strategic and entrepreneurial business. She has also completed extensive training in financial management and human resources. Prior to joining Red Door, Ms. Wyman held a Retail Management and Guest Service Management position with a privately owned day spa in Rockville, Maryland.
